Nobody Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 I know very little about WWII blades. I could only find one other example with the Forge’s name. 服部鍛刀所頼吉 (Hattori Tantosho Yoriyoshi) – Yoriyoshi of Hattori Swords Forge @ Shizuoka City museum Ref. http://www.city.shizuoka.jp/deps/bunkaz ... yuzo2.html So, I assume that there was a Forge with the name somewhere in Japan, and Yoriyoshi (maybe Enomoto Yoriyoshi (榎本頼吉)) from Shizuoka was one of smiths at the Forge.
