my first gunto

I would ask your support.

 I’m looking at the following gunto swords, what do you think?

1.       Cod. 305 KATANA GUNTO DELLA MARINA MILITARE        

2.       Cod . 303 KATANA GUNTO MILITARE FIRMATA SADAMITZU;

3.       Cod . 304 KATANA GUNTO MILITARE DI SCUOLA MINO SEKI

It’d be my first gunto, so I’d really appreciate a lot your opinion about them.

There is some really nice stuff there.
But just my personal opinion and experience....Czerny's stuff always goes waaaaay too high. They have a LOT of eyes.
Don't overspend. There are always decent deals here on the forum.

I agree with Brian, the starting price on all three is reasonable. I would think that with the other offerings being of good to excellent quality, these 3 swords will end up double or triple the starting bid price.

Brian is right. Czernys have excellent things which attract very seriously rich buyers which means nothing goes cheaply. Quite the opposite. Then you add on the buyers commission plus tax which can easily add another 30% and you end up wondering why you just did that…….I’ve wondered many times! Easy to get carried away. Safest way is to buy  direct from a known and trusted contact….friend, dealer, collector etc where you might be able to inspect the sword before buying and often have a period where you can change your mind and return it.
