Sellers, if your item is sold or your auction has ended...

Please edit your original post if possible, and add "SOLD" in the title.

Alternatively, if you cannot edit the post, then please add a reply to the bottom of the thread stating it is sold.

For ebay notifications, if the auction has ended you can add "ENDED' to the title or just note this in the reply.

You only have a limited amount of time to edit a post. After that, just reply to your thread and say sold or something, so that we can remove it.

Just a reminder to sellers to reply to your thread and post "SOLD" if it is gone, so that I can remove the ad. This if you can no longer edit and add "SOLD" to your title. Ended eBay auctions, you can reply and put "ENDED" or similar.

Buyers, please save the pics of the item you bought, and the description, as sold items are deleted from here and if you need the info later, it will be gone.

Brian, I wanted to low the price on my items.  Must I recreate the post in order update it?

You only have a certain time to edit before that is not an option anymore.
After that, just reply to your own post and say "Price reduced to X"
