Hello all, 

 

looking to see what you guys have to say about this particular sword. No signature, small pencil marks on the tang, two holes (remounted?), temper (oil, acid, clay?), and finally period of manufacture? Cutting edge is 26in (66cm) long. Please me know everything you’re thinking and observing.

These photos don't reveal much, but some details like the rounded SHINOGI, the NAKAGO, and the HABAKI let me believe that this sword could be a non-Japanese copy.

Are these markings?

Btw the habaki looks like the typical rough chinese cast habaki.

Maybe the sword was assembled from different parts? I don't know.
