WTB: Signed Type 97 Kai-gunto

Hello,

 

I am looking for a Type 97 Kai-gunto preferably with lacquered ray-skin saya and tassal though this last feature is not required. I am willing to accept light surface rust on the blade but not pitting. Signed nakago a must. My budget is between $1000-$2000.

Hello Gunnar.  I just listed a signed Naval Kai-gunto with sharkskin saya in the For Sale section here on the Nihonto Message Board.  It is priced out of your stated price range, but if it helps, I plan to negotiate some on the price.
