You're right!  And those new photos show a better view of the tsuba, which looks the same.  Just lower quality kabutogane, I guess.

We have a similar tsuba, pretty neat.  I believe I found where it was signed on the other side but it will be hard to probably get it 100%   I'll post then  when I get home. And see what everyone thinks

Do you have a picture of the crossguard from this sword?  The reason for asking is to compare it to the sword below.
