Hello all,

I’ve always wanted a Takayama sword... had an opportunity a few times to buy, but prices always killed the sale for me. This sword just came up for sale... the signature looks correct... but something appears off. Maybe the nakago was cleaned? I don’t ever recall seeing an anchor stamp on a Takayama nakago. The tsuka looks like late war fabric? Not many pics available... asked for more... was hoping for a pic of the tip of the blade. The saya has wear as you can see. Not the best example... but still a Takayama if original.
