Eds Posted September 8, 2022 Report Posted September 8, 2022 Translation assistance on a Katana, approx dating or the sword and possibly a translation of a piece of paper that was under the Ashi There are no characters on the reverse side of the tang Quote
Brian Posted September 8, 2022 Report Posted September 8, 2022 Date is WW2, this is likely a Showato, not fully traditionally made. A wartime arsenal sword. The price it went for on eBay is about right. Translation and the info on the sword was given on the auction? https://www.ebay.com/itm/363955947961 Paper translation may just be an ownership tag, am sure someone will assist. Quote
