I am not a armor collector, but have had this in my collection for some time. Acquired it from a Japanese merchant who stated it was Edo era. Seems to be antique for certain. 

A bit dusty in these photos. Apologies. 

An appreciable Samurai helmet assembly composed of kabuto, kuwagata, fukigaeshi, shikoro, nodawa and menpo = 2300$

According to a few people I spoke with this is repaired in some places, and some parts not matching, but still antique, and it displays well.
