Hi Henry,

That is not the reason I'm afraid. Most of us (including myself) who DID pay the GBP3 membership are still getting this same error when trying to log in.

I know I paid, and still get that same error every time i log in, and cannot do anything differently.

Perhaps the upcoming change will sort that issue out.

No luck on my side, Henry. I've tried registering 11 times so far, & am giving it up as a lost cause. (1) the Web script keeps changing my date format no matter how many times I put it in as xx/xx/xxxx; (2) it has also blanked my password in the second box as soon as I type it; (3) it blanks my comments (NOT BRIGHT to have that as a mandatory field!!); & (4) when I managed to get through once on my ninth try, it refused my PayPal payment, & told me I had an invalid login.

 

My time is more valuable than all this!!

I registered this evening got my confirmation email and ID number. No request for a fee. I did not confirm my registration - big error. I then did that and my login went smoothly. I think this now works as it should

Hi Henry,

 

I just registered successfully but it took me some time to get in. Unfortunately the fields are not marked as mandatory and I think some of them should be optional (e.g. don't want to disclose my address - city is okay). The date issue can be avoided by using the calendar function next to the field.

 

I was also not too happy to see my password in clear in the email confirming my registration. This should be left empty in the confirmation email as I am quite sensible with passwords in the clear (even more when provided together with the login link and my user name). I know how easy it is to sniff the network traffic for keywords like "password".

 

Please don't get me wrong. I am happy about your site as it hopefully avoids all these ebay auctions with replica stuff and Ninja swords.

My feedback, I hope it helps this beta testing session.

I received confirmation email with empty text. When I try to log in with my chosen password it says me login data incorrect. So I tried to use the "lost your password" function and I immediately received a "your new password" email, but this too is empty.
