Hi, I found this Naginata blade (Muromachi?) in the local flea market here in Brussels, Belgium, and have tried to decipher the mei, but would be grateful for some help. Thanks, Fred.

Dear Fred.

 

Nice find.  The mei escapes me but given the way it is cut and the proportions of the nakago I would expect Shinshinto for this one.  Let's see what others come up with.

Many thanks for your help and ideas. I am awaiting some more feedback from other sources and then I will put it up for auction somewhere.
