PNSSHOGUN Posted July 30, 2022 Report Posted July 30, 2022 Alex, on the topic of vultures the question is raised on who we DON'T want our cherished pieces to go to! 1 1 Quote
Alex A Posted July 30, 2022 Report Posted July 30, 2022 Hi John. "Vultures" is a term often linked with valuable items and the deceased Whilst not dead lol, certainly went on a learning curve. Some people are ruthless when it comes to attaining swords. 1 2 Quote
vajo Posted July 30, 2022 Report Posted July 30, 2022 I think we all wish that our stuff is going to another connoisseur who takes a good eye on it for a lot of years. 4 2 Quote
Surfson Posted July 31, 2022 Report Posted July 31, 2022 I hope to be self aware enough that I can start to distribute my collection at least a few years before I shuffle off this mortal coil. The problem is that we really can't plan for surprises (e.g. getting hit by a bus), and parting with my collection, especially my most favorite items, will be traumatic. I am trying to do what you have done Chris; that way, I will have the memories of my pieces secured in text and photos after I have found them new homes. 1 Quote
