AlexS Posted June 21, 2022 Report Posted June 21, 2022 Hi gents! I stumbled across this nihonto blade and got a bit curious. I am a novice in this field for sure, so forgive me if it is obvious, but I haven't seen the type of blade decoration shown on this katana. It looks like an inlay to imitate a hamon, or is it really a very sharp hamon? Looks weird in that case. I was also intrigued by shape, looking like a late kamakura if I have to pick one off the reference chart and with only one peg hole. I hope you guys can enlighten me further. Best regards Alex Quote
Paz Posted June 21, 2022 Report Posted June 21, 2022 The hamon straight away made it obvious thats it something from the circus. Quote
