Looks like a real Gendaito, in very good condition.

 

Mei: Tsukamoto Masazumi saku (塚本正澄作).

 

As far as I know, he is a WWII smith...

I am not sure if you bought this or not, since the bidding ended. The saya is either a fake or it has been painted black - not normal for this type of sword. Additionally the top spacer on the tsuba is chrome... also not normal. The blade seems fine for the photos, but the non-standard variations to the fittings alone make them suspect.

Absolutely - even if the blade would have sold with out any fittings, still a good price. Well done to who ever bought the blade.
