Huge stout blade with shirasaya, in pristine polish - solid silver habaki.

I was in the process of trying to purchase this blade from japaneseartswords.com (https://japaneseartswords.com/gallery/140)
but as it happened, it was going committed along with a number of other items to Bonham's auction house, where I managed to acquire it. The photos showing the blade on the plastic table are from the auction house.
