Alex1984 Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 Hello, please help with the sword. I got such a sword in Holland. Who is the master? Thank you in advance. Quote
Grey Doffin Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 Bishu Osafune Kiyo ? (tough to read upside down). Not a gunto; an earlier blade. Grey 1 Quote

Ray Singer Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 I translated this sword on Facebook not long ago. My impression is that it is signed Bishu Osafune Kiyomichi. 1 1 Quote

Ray Singer Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 At minimum, it may be purporting to be Sue-Bizen (late Muromachi period). But the mei has an unusual appearance, I would suggest having it validated at shinsa to confirm the authenticity and time period. 1 Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 Alex, Could I get a clear, close-up of the habaki, please? I've seen this pattern, but yours has a nice look to it. Quote
