Any ideas on age and maker of this sword? Interesting box shaped hamon

Hello, has anyone any ideas on age and maker of this sword? It has an Interesting box shaped hamon but it's hard to see as the sword needs a polish. Signature has been read as gimei masamune or masahiro.

 

The habaki seems to have some English engraved into it. Has anyone seen that before? Blade is about 30".

Appears to be an older blade in WWII tachi-style mounts. The blade is on the older side of things (appears Koto with at least one drifted mekugi-ana). I can't speak to the veracity of the mei, but gimei is probably a good assessment.
