Hello all,

A good friend inherited this Gunto and we’re hoping to decipher the smith.  I tried my hand at translating but I’m clearly not very good as I’m now here asking for help.  Thank you all in advance and unfortunately these are the only photos I have at this moment.  A translation of the habaki would also be greatly appreciated!  Thank you for your time!

Kris

三品義明  Mishina Yoshiaki

On the habaki the kanji 利 is scratched into it. Can be read "ri" or "toshi", or a few other possible readings. Maybe it was one of the kanji that make up the owner's name. That is my guess anyway.
