Help please!

in a small colection I recently visited, found two neglected bachis. 1st one is 62 plate hashi bachi, with myochin mei, but wich one?? another one is kind of namban bachi with dragon,..?? appreciate any help,...

Hello Robert,

two interesting hachi you have there.

do you have better pictures?  The mei is blurry.

the second one is a Nagasone style nanban kabuto, strong Chinese influence

What one can see at first glance is, “?明珎作?” (?Myōchin saku?). Last character might be “之”. So without the first kanji it could read “?Myōchin kore wo tsukuru”. Which means “Myōchin made this”. All depends, however, of what is written above!

Could be “上” or something like that, but I’m not sure yet…

I think we have to deal with an Ichiguchi kabuto (the koboshi).

in the same box was very rusty hineno sikhoro (partly covered with some black paint)  with one surviving fukigaeshi with gillted Naito clan kamon. Could have belonged to both bachi
