There was another link to this site where all the descriptions were weird, to say the least.  Not to defend the expertise or lack thereof but I wondered if the original was catalogued in French and what we see is the result of a dodgy translation.  I could not otherwise account for descriptions that proudly stated tsuba were cast iron , rather like this menpo.
