Simpleman Posted November 20, 2021 Author Report Posted November 20, 2021 Does the paper say anything about what year or what rating? Quote
Shugyosha Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Hi Charlie, The paper rates the sword as "Hozon", meaning "worthy of preservation". The date of the shinsa was 2nd February 2017 if that was what you meant or, if it's the date of the sword you'll need to do some research around smiths signing this way to try to get an idea of which one it might be. Do you own the sword or is it for sale? If you have it, you could post some pictures and you might get some information to point you in the right direction or you could request further information from the seller. Quote
