Mario Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 Hello what do you think of this blade of a gunto 98 Quote
PNSSHOGUN Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 Hi Mario, looks to be a authentic non-traditional blade in somewhat rough condition. 1 1 Quote
David Flynn Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 The sword is Nijimei, 2 character signature, Kanenori. Kanenori, made both Gendaito and Showato. 1 1 Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 I like it. The rough condition, to me, shows life. It very well could have been in the field, not in an officer, during the war. Suguha (straight line) hamon, like the Mantetsu blades (ok, many smiths used it too!). Date is July 1943 and has the "Na" acceptance stamp of the Nagoya Army Arsenal. 2 1 Quote

Kolekt-To Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 Is that a Seki stamp above the kanji in the nakago photo on the Left? 1 Quote
