Good day,

I’m deliberating as to purchasing this suit.

https://samuraistore.com/collections/life-size-armor/products/n015

I’ve been told though that the mail isn’t riveted. Mr. Kirita tells me that the mail is butted and secured to the underlying fabric as per historical samurai armour construction and assures me that none of the mail will become undone with use, though I am wary.

Any thoughts?

I was actually going to use this to run around in  and train my body differently.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Barrett Hiebert

Dear Barret, if it is for training purpose, it can be usefull without the sode and maedate.   Focus on the Momoyama armors.  Flexibility and weight will be of primordial importance. The mail will nOt cause too much problems, except when you start using it against real pole arms or swords.
