Buyers remorse? I think this is the type of guy you run into now and again. Tell him to get it appraised at a specialist you both agree on and if they fail to pass it you will re-negotiate. Otherwise tell him it's legit and all sales final. John

Ask him as a matter of interest..what points lead him to believe it is a fake? I would love to know what he sees.

It isn't a fake. I expect he thought there was a blade or something.

Good Morning all,

Agree with John & Brian, perhaps a pinch of client's remorse mixed with a hint of irrational expectation.... a "Master Mooney" blade to be included in the deal and somehow not mentioned in the description.... ;) .

Did the client know what the term Koshirae means?

You could perhaps advise the client to take a look at Ohmura san's Gunto site for comparison.

I did contact with buyer and he said: I'm not an expert I can only compare with ones I have and ones I've seen before. so he thought it was fake.

I told him to send it back to me for refund since he doesn't like it and also he made apologize on his statement.

Thank you guys!!!
