Sale of the century?

Hi all,

 

I was watching this piece on Ebay but didn't bid as I didn't really think I had enough spare cash.

I was rather surprised (and rather annoyed at myself for not bidding) when i saw what it went for. Am I right in thinking that someone just got themselves a damn good deal or is there something I missed?

The seller originally had it for sale in his shop for 3000 Euros so I was rather surprised (and rather annoyed at myself for not bidding) when i saw it had sold for $1330. Am I right in thinking that someone just got themselves a damn good deal or is there something I missed?

the admins here will tell you that we don't comment prices here, just swords. But I would say: hey, that is what "the market" now pays for a sword like this. Fair enough?

Hi,

 

This blade is not made by Henmi Yoshitaka whom was born in Koka 3 an died in Taisho 9.

 

I can't see clearly the nengo, if some one can tell which it is.
