Great result, congrats David

Thank you @Brian. It is a great sword. I have unpacked it and another Japanese sword (tantō) I submitted both came back undamaged from the flights to and from Orlando via Southwest airlines. I am very happy. :glee:

This would mean the sword was likely the work of the 3rd Kanemoto also known as the 2rd Magoroku master.

No it's a later generation Nidai Magoroku worked Tenbun 1532-1555  Tensho = 1573-1592

Based on these images I'm not seeing 3rd generation Kanemoto, more likely 4th.

Perhaps the NTHK will be more generous.

Thanks for sharing!

Welcome.

Would love to see additional images of the entire blade if possible?

Thank you.

This sword was sent to the NTHK shinsa during the Orlando show.

I have a few more bad photos to share.  I cannot setup for any new bad photos as I am back at work today and need to take my car in for service as the air conditioner stopped over the weekend. I need to do this before I start work.
