AntiquarianCat Posted September 2, 2021 Report Posted September 2, 2021 My apologies, I should admit I am unsure if Mr. Benson completed a full course of study but regardless I have been told by American collectors far more learned than me that he’s very well regarded and fully qualified to polish swords. Equally important is that I have found him to be friendly and willing to take time to answer questions from a relative neophyte like me, even if he is busy. I think his willingness to help and answer questions about which blades are worth or need a polish, and which don’t is very helpful to newer people like me. 1 Quote

Stephen Posted September 12, 2021 Report Posted September 12, 2021 Id not hesitate using Moses for the right sword if I had the money. https://www.facebook.com/moses.becerra/videos/632153650149787/ Quote
Edward Mahle Posted September 12, 2021 Author Report Posted September 12, 2021 I find it so interesting to watch a true Togishi at work it's definitely extremely artistic. Just watching that video I can see why he's alittle more $$$ then the rest but I bet it's worth the extra buck. 1 Quote

Japan2112 Posted September 12, 2021 Report Posted September 12, 2021 Just chiming in to add my support for Moses Becerra here in Florida. (nihontoantiques.com) He has done some polishing work for me with great results. His shirasaya and habaki are also very good. Best, Mark 1 Quote
