killing time this morning ran across a good entry level sword, you could do a lot worse on Ebay for this kind of money, lots of new members ask where can i get a sword for such and such a price, i think this fits the bill, what say ye?

As a starter blade (all the usual recommendations about not buying entry level aside) I think that is a steal at $2800.

A few reasons why seasoned collectors wouldn't buy it as part of an existing collection..but for someone looking for something genuine and showing what you want to see...as a first blade, I think that one is very good indeed.

I expect it will be gone in a few hours.

Doesn't describe the menuki.... but I like 'em too.... copper plate like the Kurikata??

 

I'd be happy with this sword... I'm not interested in papers (none of my swords are papered and even though some would stand a good chance at shinsa, this is not my objective)

 

Nice price considering the strength of the JPY right now....
