Grey Doffin Posted July 21, 2021 Report Posted July 21, 2021 Hi Russell, I have fuchi kashira and menuki on my site: https://www.japaneseswordbooksandtsuba.com/store/Tsuba-&-Kodogu Grey

ZoomZ Posted July 21, 2021 Author Report Posted July 21, 2021 Hi Grey Im having trouble figuring out which tsuba are Edo period and which are not . Can you let me know which ones are early to mid Edo please . Looking to a good close match to these pcs below for Wakizashi
Grey Doffin Posted July 21, 2021 Report Posted July 21, 2021 Hi Russell, Almost all tsuba, including almost all of mine, are Edo period. Rather than my trying to guess what you think is a good match for your fuchi kashira (so much of that is a matter of taste) you should feel free to ask about tsuba on my site that you think will work for you. I'll tell you what I can about age and if I see any problem. All of my tsuba, by the way, have the size of the nakago hitsu-ana listed, which will help if you're trying to put together koshirae for a sword you have. Cheers, Grey
ZoomZ Posted July 22, 2021 Author Report Posted July 22, 2021 Awesome selection Grey and i like a few of them . I need to measure my blade before choosing one . I have a blade im sending off for full koshirae soon . Thanks for your help ! Russ
