Showa Period, if it had to guess 1960's. If you post a profile image and one under the chin I will point out some of the things to look out for.

Really? It’s in the same section-Katchu.

 

Regarding the mempo, If you like it keep it. I have 2 Showa mempo I bought and kept, I even keep a gendai kabuto I like. Everything nice doesn’t need to be Bamen or Saotome.
