ChrisW Posted March 23, 2021 Report Posted March 23, 2021 How is the blade affixed to the tsuka? I know it is unmarked, but could I get a picture of the nakago? I am very interested in this blade. I assume the catch release is long gone, judging from the hole where it should be. Or is it friction fit? Also, message sent.
paul griff Posted March 23, 2021 Author Report Posted March 23, 2021 Hello, Sold very quickly subject to payment.........It is a friction fit and there are no catches it’s secured with two lugs and fits very securely..The blade has never been removed since it was made and hence no damage to the hilt.. Regards, Paul.
paul griff Posted March 24, 2021 Author Report Posted March 24, 2021 Hello, Item has been paid for very promptly and I thank the buyer for that...........For some reason I put it in the wrong section ?? Regards, Paul....
Japan2112 Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Nice example, good blade length. I like the cherry bark saya look.
