Kozuka Calligraphy

Have recently posted this kozuka on another thread , but I would most grateful if someone would take a look at the inscription , or point me in the right direction towards getting it translated.

 

The kozuka itself is by Tsuchiya Takechika ( signed Hogen Issai )

This might make it a little easier. Sometimes the inverse makes thigs clearer, In the older version of NMB you could put two images side by side.

Good afternoon Gentlemen,

 

The image of the Skull Bones and Summer Grasses suggests that the inscription on the other side, is possibly a Death Poem, of either Jisei 辞世 or Jisei - Ei 辞世詠 format.

 

It is beautifully cut.

For the signature, 法眼一斎 (Hōgan Issai) maybe?

The Poem:

かへりみよ、これもむかしは花、すすき(薄)まねきしそで(袖)のなごりなりけり。

 

Meaning(free translation):
When living, she(bone) was a beauty like a flower.
But Japanese pampas grass is fluttering in the wind like sleeves of her Kimono now.

Morita San, so the bones are not Nozarashi? 野ざらし in the usual sense of a warrior?
