kato Posted March 9, 2021 Report Posted March 9, 2021 兼綱 Kanetsuna 1石州兼綱 Sekisyu Kanetsuna 2應安六百年前 Ouan600years before 1 Sekisyu are written on tha saya, but I thik its a mistake of Nosyu.(濃州) 2 It is written that Ouan's time around 1370 was 600 years ago. But Kanetsuna was the author of the Muromachi period, so I think 450 years appropriate. 2 1 Quote
Peter Bleed Posted March 9, 2021 Report Posted March 9, 2021 Haven't see the blade, but based on the nakago, this is certainly a Mino-to. IMHO Peter Quote
Jussi Ekholm Posted March 9, 2021 Report Posted March 9, 2021 Unfortunately I have only 1 mei example of Ōan period Sekishū Kanetsuna, and it seems bit different but the oshigata is bit unclear. I do think some of the Muromachi Kanetsuna from Mino might be better match based on mei & nakago but of course the workmanship of the blade should be the thing to judge. Quote
