On the 18th is the Sothebys auction in Paris. It has a few swords for sale. I was looking through the catalog and the prices show the down turn in the world market. The prices are really reasonable. Just a heads up for those looking for a sword. John

Nice list, especially the Sukehiro with the cutting test appeals to me - and very reasonably estimated at 5-7K€

 

Is there a way to see the prices realised after the auction ? (not now obviously, but will they be available online or something ?)

The nakago is in poor condition and looks a bit like fire scale. Also I think its gimei.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one, unless your post is really relevant and adds to the topic..
