Bryce Posted May 30, 2022 Report Posted May 30, 2022 G'day Ronnie, Is that ayasugi hada I can see on the "Gendaito(wakizashi with horimono): Sakai ju Okimoto Kunitada Saku - made in Showa 3rd (1928) 8th day of June"? Any chance of some better photos showing the hada? Cheers, Bryce Quote
PNSSHOGUN Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Yes, some fantastic swords you are sharing Ronnie but we can't see any details unfortunately! Quote
m4l700 Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Dont think I've ever showed my Enomoto Sadayoshi / Yorimasa (later mukansa) before. One of the swords I enjoy the most in my collection. Pretty beefy blade with nice sori and sugata in my opinion Images dont do the sword justice, very difficult to take a proper photograph as you know! Enjoy anyway! 5 4 Quote

PNSSHOGUN Posted August 15, 2022 Report Posted August 15, 2022 Great sword Richard, did it come with original mounts? Quote
Cookie4Monstah Posted August 16, 2022 Report Posted August 16, 2022 My turn, There's nothing really special to see with these. I just wanted to contribute to the thread. All three are unsigned. Best, Khalid 1 Quote
David Flynn Posted August 16, 2022 Report Posted August 16, 2022 Khalid, these photo's don't show that your swords a Gendaito. The bottom photo, appears to be a very straight blade, which could be Kambun Shinto, or Shinshinto. Even unsigned, you need to show photo's of the Nakago. 1 Quote
