Foo Dog Posted January 24, 2021 Author Report Posted January 24, 2021 Moriyama, Thank you for the information. It looks like being the same sword, amazing. Do you have more information regarding the sword smith, Shigetsuna? Regards, Antonio Quote
Nobody Posted January 24, 2021 Report Posted January 24, 2021 The smith’s real name is 坂三郎 – Saka Saburo, and he was born in Nov. 1946. He was a pupil of 酒井一貫斎繁政 – Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa, and learned Bizen tradition. Ref. 現代刀匠.坂繁綱 (sinogi.jp) 1 Quote

Regards, Expand Mainly the yasurime which aren't consistent or well done, and the "flow" of the kanji as they are carved. Also, the nakago should be clean for a shinsakuto, but that one looks like it has some rust that was removed. Dunno. If would expect this to be linked to the seller Komonjo...then it would make sense. Quote
Foo Dog Posted January 25, 2021 Author Report Posted January 25, 2021 Thank you again my friend for the feedback. Quote
