I have this sword given to me from my dad/uncle that was my grandpa's from the war. I basically was wondering if any one had more information about the sword. I want to leave it to my son.

Hi Ryan,

 

    Good to see you here and welcome to the group. As we discussed on FB, the mei is Inaba (no) kami Hiroshige (rather than Ino Inaba...). See the attached write-up from Sesko's reference.

 

    Separately, the shape is typical of Kanbun shinto swords (from the time period below).

I oiled it pretty good yesterday and it Cleaned up fairly nice I think.
