shibeni Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Hello, I try to take some photos of my (probably gendai?) blade and try to learn the correct terminology of the activity on the blade. As I didn't have chance to see much of the Nihonto blades in live, I try to compare activity with the picture on the web, so: -If I start on kissaki, did I see the hakikake typ of boshi?? -the hada is ..masame?? Hamon = suguha Greetings, Bojan Quote
shibeni Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 Hi, maybe I forgot to wrote that I don't collect info for selling the sword. My sword is posted on this forum in tophic "strange mei on new katana", and it's not on sell. Collecting info. on style is for personal use, because mei on nakago was erased and era is non certain. Thank you anyhow, Bojan Quote
John A Stuart Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Hi Bojan, The boshi looks to be komaru to me. The scratches aren't hakikake. Very strange jigane overall. I don't think I have seen anything much like this esp. the dimplings. Can you provide the link to the other post. This is odd to me. John Quote
