The sayagaki by Mr. Tanobe states this was discussed as being by Rai Kunitoshi at one time but due to disagreement it was given to Enju. It can be said it's still up for discussion.

That's a nice looking blade Gary!  Is there much/any activity in the hamon?

The Enju blade has Hi and Soe Hi , the Taima has only Hi. The Enju is on the right , I accidently loaded the Taima sword.

Gary,   you're very fortunate with your acquisitions. Were they veteran, acquired. You hit the bulls eye twice, I envy you, just a little. Thank you for showing them.

I think this is more a case of an older, experienced and long term collector who learned what to collect and what not to.

I agree with Brian and suspect that Gary probably lived in Japan for a while too....

I would agree with the older part ,not sure about the rest. I have a nice one coming back from Japan I look forward to sharing with you when it's OK for them to export again.
