So you are able to access it, but I cannot.  Something going on here. What I am trying to get to is https://www.thejapanesesword.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=29 but I get a 404 Not Found. When I truncate it to get to the homepage I get a different site completely.

That's one of the Paul Martin's sites but the forum is not on there from my search.

Did Paul have a forum is probably the right question.

If not the web address is wrong.

I think the answer is reasonably simple: the website exists, Paul is around and very much in business but has likely discontinued his forum probably due to the headaches involved in managing one.

Today your first link is working for me.  It didn't when you originally posted.  The second link doesn't work, though.

I fixed the first link. It is easy enough to check your post when posting, and if something isn’t working, hit edit and fix it. 
There is even a small chain link icon where you type your post, if you want to add a link. I still need to check if links are auto converted to clickable or if I need to change a setting. But sheesh...cut and paste?

I think you have the right of it there. It is the Forum that I miss though, there were some good tips and information on Ito-maki. The main site, which I never even looked at before was not the one I was interested in.

 

 Sometimes I get very closely focused and miss the bigger picture.

Ha!  I was on the NMB Military Swords forum for YEARS before I even found out there were other forums on NMB! 😳
