Joe_noonan Posted July 3, 2020 Report Posted July 3, 2020 I found this wakizashi at a boot fair Sunday from the photo can anyone tell if the signature is genuine? I can post the photos to a member Quote
Geraint Posted July 3, 2020 Report Posted July 3, 2020 Dear Joe. I'm not sure it matters. You have a wakizashi with almost all the koshirae present, unusual sugata, all it need is a pair of menuki, some ito and a polish. Good find, provided you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. Mei starts, "Bushu ju something Hiro," Still working on the rest, someone will jump in before i get to it. Provided there are no major flaws you are ahea dof the game. Well done, that man! All the best. 1 Quote
Ganko Posted July 3, 2020 Report Posted July 3, 2020 Looks like a nice piece "Bushu ju Teruhiro", worthy of a polish and a new wrap with decent menuki. 1 Quote

ChrisW Posted July 3, 2020 Report Posted July 3, 2020 No way of knowing that for certain unless it goes to Shinsa. But it does look fairly good. Quote

Geraint Posted July 5, 2020 Report Posted July 5, 2020 Well, let's face it Joe, after that run you're owed a few weeks of nothing. Part of the fun is the looking and looking followed, at least in your case, by triumphs. Keep it up, there's more out there! All the best. Quote
