The sword is 19 inchs, can't read Japanese. Any help please.

Has signature on both sides of tang...Erich

The upper picture shows a date and smith name.

應永廿一年二月日 盛光 (Oei ni-ju-ichi nen ni gatsu hi, Morimitsu)

= A day in the 2nd month of 1414, Morimitsu

The lower picture shows a mei.

備州長舩住修理亮 (Bishu Osafune ju Shuri-no-suke)

= Shuri-no-suke living in Osafune of Bishu

Shuri-no-suke was the name of Morimitsu 2nd. However; I do not know if the mei is genuine.
