Krystian Posted June 25, 2020 Report Posted June 25, 2020 Hello, Training sword made in Japan. I bough this sword around 10 years ago. It has never been used but was around for the amount of time so there are some small scratches. However considering that it is 10 years old it is in almost perfect condition. I do not know much about training swords but I can say that saya is very well made. There is cotton ito, real samegawa and nice cast fuchikashira and menuki. Size: Length: 105 cm Saya: 79 cm Tsuka: 26 cm Blade: 74 cm Price: 600 Euro. This is just to follow the rules. I will consider all offers as I do not know how much it is worth Today. Ken-Hawaii Posted June 25, 2020 Report Posted June 25, 2020 That's 2.44 shaku. Is the blade sharp (shinken) or dull (iaito)?
16k Posted June 26, 2020 Report Posted June 26, 2020 Looks like a mogito with zinc alloy blade to me.
Krystian Posted June 26, 2020 Author Report Posted June 26, 2020 Based on my knowledge it is a Iaito. Blade is not traditionally made. It is not sharpened training sword.
