Artur DrogaMiecza Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 Thank You Peter for enabling me to carry out this project and substantive support. For this project, the biggest difficulty was scale. Kogatna koshirae - this is small. Jabramaki using a 0.85 mm thick thread. Black lacquer with the addition of golden scraps. Fittings made of amber horn buffalo. 15 Quote
Surfson Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 Artur, I assume that you made all of that koshirae. Assuming so, it is really remarkably good! Did you make the habaki as well? This really gives the impression of professional work. 2 Quote

Guido Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 I‘m not easily impressed when it comes to koshirae work of non-Japanese craftsmen, but in this case I am. 6 Quote

Kurikata Posted June 23, 2020 Report Posted June 23, 2020 Artur, first of all a great "BRAVO" for your skills and this wonderful result. I have a question: You didn't put menuki on the tsuka. Was it on purpose? Is it because the tsuka is so small that you couldn't put them ? And probably there are no available menuki for this size ? Thank you Bruno 1 Quote
