DavidF Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 He presented my sword to the NY Shinsa. His polishing skills are top notch. Very reputable and honest. I highly recommend his services. I would not hesitate to buy from him. DaveF. Quote
Jean Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I have bought a Tsunahiro hitatsura katana from Moses, he is a fantastic guy, very friendly and easy to deal with Quote
fan Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 jean, so you are lucky one who bought that wild looking sword. how does it look in person? eric Quote
ironchef. Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Moses is a good guy to deal with. Not only does he run his own kendo dojo, but he polishes swords and he is also the vice president of the NYC Metro Sword Club. I agree with Eric, Jean picked up a great looking Tsunahiro blade from Moses. I saw that blade in person before he sold it. Wish I had the money at the time, hehehe. Ricky Quote
DanBaker Posted November 5, 2006 Author Report Posted November 5, 2006 Thanks everyone for your feedback! I am looking around at the moment for my next purchase, and your replys give me great confidence to deal with Moses..... Thanks again, much appreciated. Cheers, Dan Quote
Curran Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Moses has good stuff. Over the years, there are probably only 3 or 4 swords in memory that I kick myself for not having bought. 2 of them were ones Moses offered up. He has a good eye and brings some good blades "out of the woodwork". He also is selective in what he allows to be ~consigned~ and is negotiable. Highly recommend him as being better and easier to deal with than even the majority of Japanese dealers. Quote
