aw...thanks chaps ;) ....it's nice to be appreciated :glee: . At least you know I'm not all bad

I appreciate the compliment, Jean...but I fear I still have a very long way to go. I'll keep at it though :thanks:

regards,

It was not a compliment Ford but just a statement, you are probably the best teacher in Tosogu techniques I have ever seen. (OTOH, you are the only one I know :D :D )

Knowledge is nothing if you cannot share it (selfishness).

Being an expert does not imply automatically one being a good teacher

(I know what I am talking about having teached different disciplines for years)

that's laying it on a bit thick. Secret Agent Man................. :)

Ford,

another question.

Since ( in the case of my koz ) the " silver fill " has patinated to almost same patina as the underlying shibuchi, should i " polish " the decorative motif " to make it stand out ? That can't be the original intent of the maker ( to make the decoration disappear ), right ?

I state what I think ...G-man :)

But your question is very good :

For my kozuka, what is the best way to clean it and have the dragon "standing out"?
