vajo Posted April 20, 2020 Report Posted April 20, 2020 I bought the book "Reborn" from Krystian not really knowing what it shows. I'm very impressed of the 58 pieces that are shown in the book. The book was released, i think 2019 with the exhibition"Reborn" held from the sano art musem in Japan. The blades are shown in the condition were they was found and after the restoration. Pictures of the book is from Krystians website (soryu.pl) So if you find a copy, i can really recommend that book. Thanks to Krystian for the fast sending! 8 1 Quote

Grey Doffin Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Hi Les, The company I was using to buy books in Japan has gone out of business and I haven't found a suitable replacement. Sorry; I can't be much help. Grey Quote

Jussi Ekholm Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Very good recommendation Chris. I got mine from Krystian too and there are some very rare items featured in that book that I haven't encountered yet in other books. 2 Quote
Japan auctions Posted April 22, 2020 Report Posted April 22, 2020 I checked various sites here, but found only one reference, and it was sold out. Mailed directly to Sano Museum, but probably won't get answer as it is closed now due to Corona. Will let you know if I hear. Kelly Schmidt Japanese Antique Auctions. Quote

ROKUJURO Posted June 12, 2023 Report Posted June 12, 2023 Simon, of course we could all immigrate into Japan, but to have these advantages, how do we manage the difficult thing with a wonderful wife? 1 2 Quote
