Help with signature on Smith, Nagamaki about year 1600

Is it anybody who can help me with signature on Swordsmith, Nagamaki about year 1600.

Something odd about that signature... even the first character for example which looks upside down, no?

Signature and date look too deeply chiseled for a late KOTO. Patina is a bit strange, too. A MUMEI blade with a very late amateurish attemps to sign it?

Chinese reproduction? That bo hi almost scares me more than the mei at this point.
