ChuckJ Posted April 7, 2020 Report Posted April 7, 2020 Hello Gents, First off I hope everyone and their families are doing well during this particular time. I have a question regarding the Toko Taiken rating a swordsmith at 2,500,000 man Yen. What does that figure mean and where does it rank as far as the biggest amount of Yen awarded (if there is such a thing). My research did not show much other than the bigger the number the more prestigious a smith was valued. As always thank you, Chuck Quote

BIG Posted April 8, 2020 Report Posted April 8, 2020 Hi Chuck, IMO it makes more sense to check more ratings. Our member Stan shows Hawley, Toko Taikan and Fujishiro ratings to describe the swordsmith general value. Member and sword dealer Mr. Strebel sells his swords also with that ratings. Very interesting to check the matching. https://nihontoclub.com/view/smiths/list?id_op=%3D&id=&name_op=starts&name=Toshitsugu&kanji_op=%3D&kanji=&province=All&start_era=All&school_nid=All Best 1 Quote
