Any chance you could contact them and get the date/mei/serial number pics?!!!

 

Also, would love to see pics of the fittings. I don't recall ever seeing a Mantetsu in kaigunto fittings.

 

Now to your point - Ha! Just pushes the median price up a bit, doesn't it! I'm sure you've seen the Mantetsu selling on Japanese sites for $6-7,000. But then all their gunto tend to be overpriced compared to ours.

One can ASK whatever they like. Doesn't mean it will sell. If it does sell it's quite often at a much lower, non disclosed price

I’ve  tried contacted them but it seems the site isn’t working anymore. The contact form requires a Captcha, but there is none and I get an error message when I try to send it.

JP, try a different browser. I have Firefox as my primary, but a lot of CAPTCHAs don't show up. That's one big reason why I also have Chrome & Edge installed.

I use safari and never have issues with Captcha generally. However, it may be my connection. It is usually bad but with the confinement and people using the internet even more, I often can’t even connect or get incomplete pages. I’ll try again.

 

See? Even as I write this, I was reply to one of my colleagues via email and it crashed, saying the server stopped responding!
